On a fresh blustery Sunday morning, Dunsany snatched a late point to grab a draw.
The visitiors started the better and raced into a 3-1 lead, Cathal Murphy pointing from a free for the homside. Drumbaragh aided by a stiff breeze in the first have were making the most of it and pressed ahead their advantage. Pierre Fox and Shan Walh kept Dunsany in touch with some fine scores.
Drumbaragh again though extended their lead to 6 points but Eoin Harkin split the posts to leave it 10-5 at the break.
Dunsany brought in Danny Thynne and veteran Andrew “Cheesy” Keena to bolster the team at half time.
After the resumption the homeside began to grind down their opponets and started to pick off scores. Fox added further scores through frees and centre forward Alan Kelly contributing a point too.
Drumbaragh though were still keeping out of touch and added scores when posible to keep Dunsany more thana score away.
With 10 minutes left Walshe latched on to a breaking ball on the Drumbaragh 21 and found the corner of the net with his right foot. Dunsany now a point behind had the momentum but again Drumbaragh were able to score. Fox added another free to again leave the minimum between the sides.
